One of the best things about succulents is how easy they are to propagate and grow! Here is a step by step guide for propagating succulents from leaves.
To propagate a succulent from a leaf, carefully twist the leaf off the stem making sure you keep the base of the leaf in tact and that nothing gets left on the stem.
Fill your propagation tray with succulent soil, or coarse propagation sand. Place your succulents leaves on top and let it dry out for a couple of weeks. Avoid placing the propagation tray in direct sun until the plants are well established.
Once the leaves have started sprouting roots from the ends you can start to gently spray them with water once a week.
Once the leaves have well established roots, then you’re ready to re-plant them into a bigger pot with succulent soil! Always pay attention to the watering habits and make sure you do not overwater in the initial stages of growth.
